Veliko Tarnovo Central Mall - The largest of its kind in Bulgaria the Mall is home to many clothes and gift shops offering modern designs and well known brands. Samovodska Charshiya - During the 19th Samovodska Charshiya was the central place of Veliko Tarnovo. Today a great part of the houses and workshops along the street have been fully restored. Many craftsmen work here in front of the eyes of the public and offer their merchandise to the passers by. You will find many traditionally hand made souvenirs, antiques and reproductions, jewellery and art. You are sure to find something to take home. Shop 'Strinala' is recognisable by the amount of traditional ceramics and dolls amongst other things you will see are you peer through the window. The ceramic cups, plates, bowls and dishes are typical of Bulgaria - in many colours with lots of patterns. The wonderful dolls with traditional costumes in all sizes are delightful. Rug shop 'Takachnica' is located in the middle of the Samovodka Charshia. In the weaving workshop the centuries-old Bulgarian tradition is preserved and demonstrated here by mother Nedezda Venkova or daughter Miglena Chatalova for 28 years now. They follow authentic techniques and use natural materials like cotton and wool to manufacture hand- made articles such as: rugs, scarves, bags. They also design hand painted T-shirts, silk shawls and decorative glass item. Also if you want something special to order just give 4-5 days notice. All visitors will receive a hearty welcome!!!! Wooden Shop - Welcome to the world of original art in wood - handmade sculptures from wood are produced in this studio in traditional Bulgaria style much to the joy of the many tourists coming from around the world. Since 1980 they have offered wooden sculptures, spoons and whistles and many other beautiful items such as animals and jewellery. The father and son team are very enthusiastic and can make for you anything you desire. In fact they provided 'Wedding Spoons' - for our wedding in June 2006 they made for us dozens of wooden spoons with whistles these were engraved with our name and wedding date as a keep sake for our guests. Copper Shop - Hasan Husernov works with copper and he can make anything you desire from this material. Hasan is now 70 years old has practised his trade for 55 years now following in the footsteps of 2 generations before him and his son is to inherit the work. Hasan loves everything about his job. He has supplied hotels and restaurants and of course many tourists who he hopes are very happy with their purchases.

Horse Riding.  We can offer you the chance to see the beautiful countryside and scenery surrounding Arbanassi on horseback. The horse trails in this area have spectacular views and lots of opportunity to gallop along and feel the wind in your hair. If however, you have little or no experience, why not take the opportunity to learn some more or have a go.
